Easter Bunny Hat

With St. Patrick's Day over, we are moving on to the next holiday; Easter! I basically made the entire hat and let her stick the pieces of tissue paper on the ears to decorate them. What a silly girl.

She still has some leftover jelly on her face from her toast.

All the while, the baby was passed out the entire time.

 Binocular break!
Final product; SO CUTE! (and eww to the trashcan in such an adorable picture)

Binoculars

So I forgot to take pictures of the process, but these are the final product; binoculars! She painted the toilet paper tubes, we let them dry, then I assembled them together. Great pretend play. We even went out and saw some deer with them last night; 4 doe!

Here Comes Munchkin #2!

Munchkin #2 decided to make her appearance! Here are a few pictures of my sweet girls.. we are so excited to have her in of our family!

Shamrock Necklace

Preparing for St. Patrick's Day coming up, we (or I) thought it would be fun to make a Shamrock necklace.

Supplies Needed:
- Dry noodles (anything with a hole in it so you can thread it through yarn)
- Yarn
- Green construction paper
- Vinegar
- Green food dye
- A kid!

Step 1: Put vinegar and a few drops of green food coloring in bowl and mix. Add noodles and let them soap for a few hours.
Step 2: Drain vinegar and spread noodles out on wax paper to dry. Let them sit out until they are completely dry. They should be green!
Step 3: Cut out shamrocks from green construction paper. Punch one hole in each one.

Step 4: Help toddler lace noodles and shamrocks onto yarn. This was good for her fine motor skills! I just held the yarn. We did 3 noodles, 1 shamrock, 3 noodles, 1 shamrock, etc.
Here is the end result! It is really cute and she's ready for St. Patty's Day!

Moon Sand

I've seen this floating around Pinterest, so we thought we'd give it a shot. This is moon sand. It is basically a moldable sand. It's soft, yet you can form it. Warning: It makes a mess when played with by a 2 year old!

Supplies Needed
- 8 cups flour
- 1 cup baby oil
- Something to mix it in
- Cookie cutters, scoops, anything fun to play with

Step 1:  Measure 8 cups of flour and add 1 cup (to 1.5 cups) of baby oil. Mix well.
Step 2: Play! Use cookie cutters, cups, scoops, anything else that may be fun.

She really did enjoy it! I'm so glad we did it outside because she got it everywhere.
