Supplies Needed:
- Dry noodles (anything with a hole in it so you can thread it through yarn)
- Yarn
- Green construction paper
- Vinegar
- Green food dye
- A kid!
Step 1: Put vinegar and a few drops of green food coloring in bowl and mix. Add noodles and let them soap for a few hours.
Step 2: Drain vinegar and spread noodles out on wax paper to dry. Let them sit out until they are completely dry. They should be green!
Step 3: Cut out shamrocks from green construction paper. Punch one hole in each one.
Step 4: Help toddler lace noodles and shamrocks onto yarn. This was good for her fine motor skills! I just held the yarn. We did 3 noodles, 1 shamrock, 3 noodles, 1 shamrock, etc.
Here is the end result! It is really cute and she's ready for St. Patty's Day!
