Heart Window Decorations

We got crafty today! Ok, so I have to thank Pinterest for this one.

Supplies needed:
- Contact Paper (can be found in the kitchen aisles at Walmart where the drawer liners are)
- Red and/or Pink construction paper cut into heart shapes
- Red and Pink tissue paper, cut into squares
- Glitter!

Step 1: Cut out heart shapes (or try your best anyway..) out of construction paper.
Step 2: Lay on contact paper, sticky side up.
Step 3: Let munchkin put tissues paper pieces on herself.

She favored the pink over the red; true girl right there.
Step 4: Help munchkin add glitter, then lay another piece of contact paper over heart to seal it up.
Step 5: Cut out leaving a small border of contact paper around heart outside.
Step 6: Tape in window and enjoy!

(Hopefully your heart will be more heart-shaped than mine!)
This was a fun, super simple project that we can get out every Valentine's Day to enjoy.

  1. So pretty and fun! We've been doing one for each season, started in the Fall last year. But, you've inspired me to do holidays, too!
