Need
- Quick drying cement
- Jewels (dollar store)
- Boxes (we used a cereal box which was kind of flimsy, and a sturdier box which is recommended)
- A handsome husband to do all the hard work
- Two cute kids for handprints and footprints
Step 1: (no pic) Find strong boxes. I modified them to make them square (aka: used scissors and tape).
Step 2: Have husband mix cement and pour in boxes
(Yes, that is my child in a poofy pink skirt and topless; that's how she rolls)
Step 3: Help kiddos with handprint and footprint.. you might have to try this several times until you get a halfway decent one.
(Doing all the hard work while I stand around watching)
Step 4: Have older child put jewels in. Note: Show them how to do this, don't assume they will know just to stick it on top. They may think it should be shoved down as far as it can go.
Step 5: Let it dry and remove from box! So they aren't perfect by any means, but they are perfect to me. I think they turned out great and look wonderful in our yard.
Adorable, right?
